Appreciate it fellas. I'll have my resume in circulation by lunch and I've put a feeler out to all my contacts. I'm going through a range of emotions right now. It's especially frustrating because my dad always taught me hard work would prevail and in this instance, all that mattered was who was in the in crowd. This is the second job in a row where I've worked in a frat house, but wasn't one of the brothers.
I don't hang out with anyone I work with either. They are a bunch of city people that I have nothing in common with. They ask me if I caught a deer Lol.
Well, good news. I have an interview at 2PM tomorrow with a company that is very well positioned to ride this down turn out. They are very reputable and I would be back to doing one of the things I enjoyed most: purchasing rights-of-way. Fingers crossed.

Well, that was short lived. They had to cancel. Knowing how this business can be, I'm not worried. I'm sure this guy has plenty going on in addition to talking to me. I'll worry if I don't hear anything in the next week.

Did he cancel or reschedule. Did you get a follow up with me on YYY to see etc.
Send him a thank you card for the time, right now! Not an email, a card. Go get one and do this... He will call!
Prayers for ya brother...............Hope it is just a reschedule. Working in the oil field is awesome when things are good, when prices drop it is a nightmare, but I know you know this. Best of luck.
