Arrow building help

Hello everyone, okay so after reading up on a ideal FOC for hunting whitetail, I have a quick question. I was looking to build a new set of arrows and I was looking into arrows around 9-9.5 gpi with a brass 100g head, blazer 2 inch vanes, a standard nock and a 100g broadhead. Now gold tip has this arrow builder thing and so I build a ted nugent arrow because they are right in the middle of my desired 9-9.5 gpi and I added all that stuff on it and it calculate the arrow to be right around 460g arrow and about 16% FOC. I read that 12% is a common number and what I'm trying to ask is that in your opinion is 16% too much FOC and should I maybe go to a 85g tip and go down to about 13% FOC or is 16 a good solid number?

Wish I could help, I'm one of those guys who just buys what others recommend, screw some heads on and start shooting.

Thanks all for the help! I usually wouldn't worry about this but I was just curious because I want to try a new arrow set up and though maybe go with a higher FOC and a heavier arrow for more put down power. Thanks for the help though!
