My daughter and grandson are staying with me. I had to get "house gun (s)" out of reach of the 1.5 year old on days I have something out but yet avaible to my daughter. It's only out when I'm home.
This was my answer...
Hang em high!

Hung in the back room, it's hardly noticeable from the other side in the main part of the house.

Nice. That "safe place" will be safe for another year or so. Not much more. I know you though. You will keep the grand babies safe. You will educate them on gun safety when the time is right too. Those kids are lucky to have you Jim.

You know it Phil! When the time comes, its back to the vault they go but they (grandchild/daughter) should only be with me for about a year...

I would not usually use such a gun for everyday home defense however circumstances sometimes warrant.

Thank you for the post.

Nice set up. Not sure if you noticed or care but it looks like your sights are on backwards. I've seen this before at a rural king. People that don't know anything about ARs put the sights on at the store and don't care to make sure they are correct.

:smiley_clap: Winner !!! Winner !!! Winner!!! :smiley_clap:

I was beginning to wonder if anyone would catch that! I just bought them and threw em on backwards for the pictures to see if anyone would notice and bring this thread back to life. No range time yet to paper it.

Good Eye Wmiller07 !
Never be afraid to speak up folks.

Haha that's funny you did that on purpose. Hopefully you get it to the range soon. ARs are a lot of fun and I also enjoy owning things the gooberment doesn't want me to have. Enjoy your rifle.

I have a new one I finished up tonight. It should be a good one. I have a new flip to bid tomorrow afternoon and if I get out in time I will have good pics and some 700 yard shots. Can't wait!

Teaser...

This will be the cartridge I get if I ever get to do my elk hunting trip. I'm looking forward to the pictures

I bought ammo just to have brass to reload. Norma brass is $65/50 and Hornady is $40/50 (just brass). I paid $30/20 for loaded rounds and will use the brass (fireformed).
