Nah, that wouldn't be in bold. It is only on this particular model/brake. There must be a reason. It may be that you may not be able to realign it if you wish to reinstall.I'd say to ward off any BS lawsuits....

Yes. There are brakes/comps that move like a micrometer and are tunable. Like the BOSS system Browning has.Can a brake be tuned to a specific barrel???
Oops. Thought you had the R3.One thing to note, there appears to be a difference between RRA's ported muzzle brake and the"beast" muzzle brake, which is what my gun came with. The page for the X-series rifles makes no mention of the muzzle brake.

I can't speak to their "tuned and ported" model which sports the warning on their website, but the one on mine is not pinned. It simply threads on, seating up against a crush washer. Nothing fancy. Is the RRA brake pinned and welded, not just screwed up against a crush washer?
Which revolver is that?
That's great and all but I want the Nighthawk. [emoji7]It's a S-W 686 with a six inch barrel. Had a couple other smiths that I had to let go during some tough times but there was no way that one was getting away lol. Fits my hand perfect.
Love that 870!
