Quite possibly best day shed hunting ever for me. Found 4 or 5 small ones once. Several years ago. Today I found my second matched set ever. Probably also the two largest sheds I've ever found. I am jacked up!

Ron finally found his first shed of 2017-18 season today. It’s one of our target bucks and the one I missed during archery season this past fall. He found the same side from same buck last year pretty close to where he found this years side.



Here is the comparison.

Good day of walking, my daughter really likes to shed hunt, and she walked over 1.2 miles up and down some steep hills, I continued on for 2.5 more without her and found my target deerz left side which makes it even better. Looked for the other side but no luck. Gonna try and get out a few more times.

Thank you. I've put in plenty of miles over the years. This is probably my best day ever. Makes you forget about the times you come home empty handed. Lol

Garrett was pretty excited to see them. Even my non-hunting daughter was impressed. Hopefully it encourages them to join me in the future.

Made it out for a quick walk today and found one shed and a small dead head, got alot more walking to do once more free time comes around!

Congrats on the finds! Steep terrain around that shed it looks like. Travel route from bedding to food or a spot a buck would lay down a spell?
