Ive got and OLD 10X that still has some life in it so I'll continue to use it till it craps out. If I was using a bow like yourself Id stay as light as possible and what your doing is working, just my thoughts.
Agreed, especially since I'm not using pop up blinds anymore.

I've never used either... Areas I hunt are big woods with no fields... A lot of run and gun hunting going from ridge to ridge, so don't want to have to lug something else around.. But TOO each their own...

The avian x I hunted over a few times was not what I considered bulky or big. Sure, it doesn't fold over a dozen times like a cheap foam Flambeau, but it looks 100 times better too. If I found a decent enough deal on an avian x I'd probably buy one. I just don't turkey hunt enough to consider spending full price.

I woulda suggested the avian x lay down hen. That thing sealed the deal on birds twice last year. Buddy shot one standing on top of the decoy and we doubled on two toms on another hunt also. They are not bad to carry with the bags they comes with. They have a shoulder strap that makes it nice. I run and gun with them and have carried three before. No hills here though.

Had a guy at work said he got a decoy for xmas and with a newborn just doesn't have the time to go.
Said it was mine if i wanted for $30.
I dont use em much but could come in handy bowhunting them,he brought it inand it was an Avian X laydown hen.
He said hell just give me $25 and a turkey breast if ya get one. Lol
Hell of a deal as i would never pay full price for one. It does look real.
