I think they overplayed the three songs that he had, and honestly two of them weren't that good. The good one that he went viral for was simply played to death to the point of it being annoying. It would play on my favorite Pandora station and I would let it play so the man could get his money. After the sixth billionth time I finally started skipping it. To me that song was like bluegrass. I love it! For about 15 minutes, then it gives me a headache.

I see some social media posts here and there. I suspect with him winging it or having buddies help, the battle is a little tougher. Booking. Touring. How to market. When and where to market. He didn't want to sign with any big labels. I liked it and respected the decision. It might have hurt a bit in regards to keeping his name at the top. Let's just hope he has continued writing and can release some more stuff to follow up.

He still made a point. This man touched many of souls. He didn't instantly sell.out to make it big. The storm passed and then he took a contract. I dont blame him one bit. Only a fool would've let that opportunity pass.

He fired a shot across the bow of the establishment while holding 2 giant middle fingers up. He filmed himself saying he was happy with where he was at in life and I truly respected that and I'm sure a lot of people did. I watched videos of people crying while "reacting" to the video. He was touring and getting his music and his message out just fine with social media. The only reason to sign with a label was to make money. I'm all for making a buck, but don't sell yourself as some champion for the people in such a big way and then sell out.

I lost interest in him after that, but I would bet he won't make an anti-establishment song again or read from the bible and speak about Jesus at any of his shows anymore since the record label.
