I think I heard this morning on Fox News that carbon monoxide poisoning was ruled out recently early in the investigation.

He had three kids and some grandkids…..no one reached out/talked to him in months….yet the daughters said they were close.

If it wasn’t foul play, I’m thinking that it’s possible Gene passed away and collapsed in the mud room, his wife found him, freaked out….went to the front door and called for help….went back inside(leaving the front door open) then decided she couldn’t bare to be without him and overdosed. They found meds scattered on the counter of the bathroom she was in which is right next to the front door. It’s a shame she didn’t have the frame of mind to at least release the dog from its crate and to call 911…the crate was right next to where her body was found. It appears the dog starved to death in the crate while their bodies decomposed until they were found. The other two dogs could leave and reenter the house through the open front door. Genes pacemaker last registered an event on February 17th, so they were dead for almost ten days before they were found.
Or, he had a heat attack & maybe she didn't recognize that, yet ran to get his meds, tripped , fell, hit her head or maybe had a heart attack herself due to the anxiety or whatever. .. .

The autopsy said there wasn’t any trauma to either one of them….if she hit her head, it would’ve shown up then. They’re awaiting toxicology results which I think will tell alot.
She could have hit her head with inside bleeding . The preliminary autopsy wouldn't show that. That's how my dad died, so that's my thought.

Definitely strange circumstances around these deaths... The fact that Gene was possibly dead for quite some time makes you wonder... Hard to believe no one checked in on him... My son checks in on me both morning and in the evening... Like I said Gene was one of my favorite actors... I watched 2 of his movies last night.... RIP Gene...
