TTT, season has been in full swing for a month with Ty moving up to 14U and Wyatt to 10U. Both were excited to start playing with bumping up and they seem to be holding their own so far. First year of kids pitch for Wyatt, should be entertaining 😆.

Wyatt's first game is tonight and Ty's team started out 1-0 with a solid 13-3 win over another Edision team. He played catcher for 1/2 the game, throwing out 1 attempted steal, and 1st base the rest. He went 1-3 hitting (ground out, single, HBP) as #2 man in the line up.

Ty's team lost in extra innings earlier in the week and picked up a W Friday evening, moving to 3-1 on the season. He continues to start at catcher then bounces between P, SS, 1st as needed.

Wyatt's team remains undefeated at 4-0, with him starting in CF and then either SS or 2nd once pitchers start to rotate. He's had a few hits, but is struggling to catch up timing wise with the bigger kids. Thankfully he's catching more and more normal (elbow up/thumb down) vs. basket style.

Ty wrenched his back a a few days back after a good wiffer at bat. The next few days of baseball practice and summer football led me to belive it was muscle related. Not hammy, just back. Well got him in to doc and dudes got a stress fracture in this lowest vertebrae per the XRay. MRI up next, doc (school asst. wrestling coach) said its pretty common and he's good on baseball but restricted on things when lifting/football related. He seems to be feeling OK so fingers crossed no impact to his season....wtf.

Both boys squeezed out a win yesterday. I was on Wyatt duty at 10u. He went 0-3, all strike outs swinging for Lake Erie😂. Caught 1 in CF and handled his business at 3rd base for 2 innings. I cant talk to that one, so "good job not looking at strikes" is all there is lol.

We landed a $30K grant to redo the main field in Berlin Hts. (we're a 2 community school/youth sports), one I have helped manage for almost 10yrs now. It was like concrete after a rain, and someone was soon to get hurt. Man o man is it Suh-weet now! Sprucing up the dugouts was also long overdue, so me, the wife and Ty all got in on the action to knock it out. There was no plan for the inside, but after after looking at it, yep it needs done.

Wyatt's team played on it last night.
