You joke but I've put a 90hp on a 10ft flat bottom John boat. We had to put the cooler in the front and my buddy had to lean over it to get her to stay planed out. Once we got the nose down she would absolutely scoot in Delta floodwater.

Haven’t seen an update lately....this isn’t your boat project, is it?
Yeah decided to take the boat out of the dumpster and get started on it. Perfect day for it. So, I had better get started on it. First, I wanted to take all the boards off that trailer.
Started working on my boat earlier today. I went to the store and bought some paints and JB weld to patch the hole up with. Gonna wait for the JB weld to dry up before sanding it down then clean the bottom of the boat up really good before getting ready to paint it.
Good deal BC. Can't wait to see the progress here. I believe that's the same combination of paints I used to redo mine last year. It actually went alot faster than I thought. Just dedicate one day to the hard stuff and the rest is smooth sailing
Sanded it down, sprayed down to clean it up really good, then painted the bottom 2 coats. Gonna let it dry couple days. After that, take the tape off and paint the top blue.
Shouldn’t the top be red, BC, scarlet & gray…. Just sayin….
