Be sure to seal BOTH SIDES....I learned that lesson from a friend......

Seal all six sides. The end cuts will suck in sealer like you wont believe. And will suck up moisture the same way if you don’t saturate them with sealer.

Looks great man. Go to harbor freight and get a rivnut gun and order some rivet nuts off Amazon to secure it down. That way you can take it on and off. Cut a hole in the middle and put a door on it so you can access the space below for storage.

Looking good. Agree with Joe on getting the rivet gun. Will make life a lot better if you ever want to remove it.
Added 2nd coat of paint to the boat trailer. A difference of before and after pic that I was looking at last night. Now, going to put up brake lights and possibly run em all new wires, then add the carpet in the boat.
Put Thompson waterseal on the board, then the carpet. Went bought new wirings for the trailer since the ones in it aren’t any good. Almost there.
Been a great process to watch. Are you going to let Dustin catch the first fish in the boat once you launch it?
He hasn’t started making the barrel yet Phil. It’ll be awhile.

Looks nice, you ever going to fish in that thing or just look at it in the driveway?
Have to have it weigh in and get the slip to take to title place.
I went to nearby sand and gravel pit and got my trailer weighed in there, all 1100 pounds of it. It’s 5’x 10’ and I haul firewood mostly but my four wheeler has taken several rides as well.
