Bears for Deer

I put this in another section but didn't word it right , I'm looking for a swap hunt for two my son and I , I'd like to trade a Black Bear hunt here in WVA for a Deer hunt in Ohio not expecting a trophy just somewhere different to hunt and make some new friends I'm not a guide just a fellow hunter I have close to a 1000 acres leased with lots of bears and you can take two in my county .. if interested send me a pm thanks ....Doug
 
Nice offer Doug. This site does need some more activity in trade-a-hunts. Thanks for getting the ball rolling. I see lots of open seats on Lake Erie fishing boats with open offers on OGF. We need to loosen up a little on the the "infamous" tree stand side of things.
 
I see a lot of lookers no takers no one interested in Taking a BlackBear lol thanks anyways
 
little one my boy got , we don't chase them but we will shoot the ones that walk by they are a problem

IMG_0052.jpg. Here's a couple pics I will post more this spring as it warms up just to show some more. Bears and see if anyone is interested , being the end of the season it's hard to see that far ahead I know just thought I'd throw it out there thanks for looking guys.

Fayette county. I'm 5 minutes from the New river Gorge if you have heard of it 45 minutes from Charleston , I can pm ya my number if ya like
 
Great idea WV I was thinking of doing the same thing with bears here in New Jersey. Chance for someone to get a world record class bear, but I never did it.. Good Luck with your offer. I see there's another member on here from West Virginia, you should touch bases with him and try to find a small lease.. Just a thought..

Just thought Id chime in and say WV does have bears. I see them every year while deer/turkey hunting but Ive never tried to get one or had one in bow range while bow hunting.

Im not sure the rule on hunting them there.

I hunt pretty far north from the OP in Preston Co. But here is one that was hangin around my blind this past season.

Nice Bear , yeah your a few hours from me , your close to the Maryland border aren't ya ,Cheet mountain area if I'm thinking right .Im in southern WVA ,
 
yep not far from Maryland

stay with my cousin in Morgantown and hunt his farm in Independence...

several bears around....but getting one in your sights not so easy lol
 
We see them regularly , can't keep a feeder up they chew on our stand seats they are aggravating to say the least LOL try hunting areas with a lot of beech or grapes ,
 
After living in AK for ten years...it's almost weird to see bears with ears. Those all look tiny to me. What's a "big bear" weigh in your area?
