Beaver trapping

Damn that sucks. Is there many otters out there?

There is no shortage of them. Each trapper is legally allowed 2 for the season.
If you specifically set for them and do a decent amount of trapping the rivers and such it is not hard to get your two. This is the first time I've caught 2 the same day.

I just measured them. The female is 42" and the male is 46" tip to tip. I assume the male would have stretched to over 60".

Cool on the otter catches but sucks ya couldn't keep em.
