Probably the best hunting story I've read all season so far . Every part of it sounds like a great memory . Congrats to you both!

To add to the story, Jenna was using the G5 Mega Meat broadheads. We had a lot of trouble tracking her deer for more than half of the blood trail. Absolutely no fault to the broadhead and really no fault in shot placement other than the entry was between the last 2 ribs and the hole immediately got filled with prolapsed small intestine. The exit was behind the opposite shoulder. Both substantial holes. She was so tedious while gutting she found the liver was sliced, diaphragm was hit, rear of right lung and center of left lung were all found to have a big 3 blade slice. We figure the near side plugged and once the blood filled the cavity it spilled out the far side, about 150 yards into the track is when it got easy to follow.
