BigSlam and Jesse's Ozark Adventure - The Lost Chronicles

For you guys thinking about something like this, tags/license, gas and food shouldn't run us much more than $500-600. I'm buying a climber for the trip, but that's been on the list for a while anyways. So at the end of the day, I bet I have less than $750 in the trip as a whole. Not bad for a hunt somewhere other than SE Ohio!

I like the sound of that.

awesome my buddy from tennesse is going to meet his wifes family in Missouri next weekend he says he only going to try and get us some land to hunt out there, im hoping it will go thru but if it does im sure we wont be roughing it like you guys. looking forward to keeping an eye on this thread

Awesome! I'll be keeping an eye on this. I TOO am planning to do a little adventuring this season by hunting public land in Kentucky in early September, it'll be a lot different for me than the farm lands I'm used to, I have been watching YouTube videos on reading Topo's so I'll really be interested in your tips on those.

I'm pretty new at reading topo maps, don't really need them where I hunt. But I've been looking at alot of Missouri topos lately trying to learn them.

Thanks, will try to video tape the hunt and maybe watch it at the stroud meet
