They're always around Chad lol, with the advent of cameras it's probably worse...
You'll be in an area where people will wave at you while you're driving by and go out of there way to help you out when in need... But they do live by the 3 S's down there....
I know, and I don't post this to sway you from your trip just giving you a heads up about some of my experience with the locals that I encountered during my time down there....
I've spent my whole life on rural OH and WV, if I can't make it down there, I've learned nothing in my 33+ years.
Well shit son, I'd hold so. Ya got cinder blocks at the end of 5' long arms. Mike Tyson would probably think twice!
You'll fit right in... I was stationed with guys who were from the area and we had no issues.... Lots of good fishing down there as well, bring some tackle and you'll have some good meals over a fire.... We did t bring much food with us (tons of beer) and never went hungry....
