Bigslams crappy shed thread

I don't have any cameras out right now Chad. I usually pull them the weekend before gun season and put them back out around the first week of April. My buddy has one at my property, but he doesn't pull cards very often at all. I'd leave mine out all winter, but I like to give them a good clean up during the off season.

That's probably why all my cameras take a shit on me, I leave them out all year. I'm down to one now. But then again, it could be that wildgame innovation is junk stuff LOL.

I've had this skull soaking since Saturday in peroxide water. I've scrubbed the green with a toothbrush and it still won't come off the skull. Any suggestions?

My wife used to be a hair stylist and she gets me peroxide creme from the beauty supply. It's a higher volume I have some 20% and 40%. The creme stays on it nicely and it works wonders. After it's done soaking, rinse it then soak it for a few hours in vinegar and that will deactivate the peroxide. That should work Chad.

Bigslam51. Go to Sally's Beauty Supply (or order online). They make a liquid (blue label) and a creme (red label) in Peroxide (up to 40 %). Get the highest percent. If you get the creme, you can also (not required) to be the whitening powder which thickens it up. I use the creme and whitening powder to make about 2 cups of solution that is like runny toothpaste. Wear rubber gloves or you'll regret it for sure. Tape up the first couple of inches of antler base so the creme doeesn't get on it. Lay down some Suran wrap. Paint the thick solution on the skull heavily and then wrap up the skull in the Suran wrap and leave overnight. The next day rinse with water heavily. Let dry a day or two, the use regular Elmers glue to set in all the teeth whether they are loose or not and any bones (like the nasal bones) that seem loose. I seal mine when done but that depends on your desired finished look.

Couple pics from noble county. Pretty sure I'll have permission to hunt this 60 acre piece of property this year. My buddy had 4 or 5 bucks on camera this past season that ranged from 125-140".
