Bigslams trapping and snaring

I'm thinking more fox or yote tongue. I just don't think a coon tongue would be that wide.

Try some mackerel for bait sometime. Seems like it attracts a lot more coon than possums and skunks.

It is. I baited a few with shellfish oil on the bottom and tuna on top.

Took some coon in today. 13# was on the carcass, I damaged the next one, got $9 for a xxl that was stretched, and $6 for a xxl that I only skinned. I gotta invest in a fleshing board and knife, I've been using my buddies. Ain't in it for the money LOL.

Yea I sold mine last year at 10 on the average. This Russia deal is killing the market.

Only other thing to do is send them to auction in Canada like my buddy does, but I don't catch enough for that.

You don't have to catch a lot. I sent all mine to Canada last year and I only had 28 to send. It's easy to do.
