well had an interesting weekend got a call from a landowner asking me to remove my stands, that there was no more hunting because they were starting to build there house. i knew that part was coming but we had talked last season about us just bow hunting and he was good with it. so i went out yesterday and pulled 4 stands in the pouring rain just to get them down so i didnt have to worry about it. i have hunted the land for 10 years now and threw 3 different land owners. we hunt the farm next to it also and its for sale so we may just end up losing our best area in one season. i think between me my dad and brothers and uncle we have 14 deer on the wall from these farms. it sucks to loose but i called the landowner and let him know we pulled them and thanked him for the past couple of seasons were still on good terms and im hoping once the build is done he will let us hunt it again. on another note im glad i picked up the too new places that i did this season i have only checked the camera once on the one new place and after a month soak it only had 700 pics on it. so i didnt have high hopes for it except a spot for the rut or to shoot a few does, i let the cam run for another month and it came to life now i just have to get a plan together to get a couple stands out. i think im gonna put my buddy from tennesse in there after a couple of the bucks. the first 4 pics are from the new property.

luckily i havent been running cams on those properties like i usually do knowing that we could loose them at anytime so all the deer ive posted on here are all still fair game.

Got word that there's a big buck that's been spotted next to the property where I hunted that drop tine buck last year. I put cams up for him so hopefully pictures to come. Got most everything done besides hanging a stand behind my dad's place. Gonna try to get after some early goose action to keep me occupied for a few days and chase some tree rats.
