Jesse I think he's only 3. My buddy killed a 196 just a mile away and it was aged at 3.5

Here's the buck killed just a few property's away. He had it aged and it came back as 3.5 years old. We have some good genetics in the area I just hope the big ones keep breeding.

Just out of curiosity who aged it??? I'm not calling u a liar....but I'm staying whoever aged that deer is wrong...3 yo deer don't have a melon that size no where in the country... I don't believe that deer was 3 yo for one second

I said I wasn't 3 also I said closer to 5, one of the game wardens or someone at oDNR aged it.

I didn't see any bear today saw a decent 8 point for the area. And a doe. Could not get a shot at either.the woods are thicker than hell can't shoot more than 25 yards in most areas. We will be back at it early in the morning.

Josh, I think you were closer to the age than they were! Especially if their aging process is as bad as their process as to how to estimate our deer population numbers!

Well guys didn't have any luck with the bears its illegal to bait and my uncle was getting pics up to the opener. We didn't see anything Saturday I saw a few does but no shots. Sunday we ran into some guys leaving and one guy missed 3 bears that morning so we wen't to check out the area they were in and found a 55 gal drum full of bait. They were only 800 yards from where I was. I went and hunted a deer spot that evening and saw a little 8 point and a doe. No shots. Monday we talked to a guy his buddy wounded a bear sunday evening. But nothing for us. I still had a good time with my uncle don't get to see hi. Very often I'm gonna go back down later if he says there on them. I got back today and pulled a couple cards I'll post some pics later. I hope my season doesn't go the way my first hunts did it would be a very slow season if it does.
