I'd keep it too. $1200 doesn't go very far and will be gone quickly and the truck will be gone. Store it somewhere until you're done with college. Then you'll get a good job and you can start fixing it.

I know guys I really wish I could keep it and fix it but I just don't really have the drive or time to. I need 1200 to pay for my final semester at the local community college so I will graduate in the spring. Idk I got a young kid coming with his dad to look at it tomorrow, he sounds real excited like how I was when I first bought it. Kind of cool to see another young kid trying to carry on the legacy of the truck haha.

Well if that's your decision I hope you get what you're asking out of it. There will be other beat up trucks needing lots of work down the road lol. Good luck with your schoolin' Ryan.

Thanks Joel! I ended up just selling it for 1550. Guy wanted all the parts I had collected over the years so I said for 1600 it's all his he said 1550 and I shook his hand and said fine. Kind of bitter sweet but he put 600 down and is coming back with the rest on Tuesday. Pretty excited. Going to go look at a couple newer trucks Wednesday and I did the other day too. Looking at 2000-2003 7.3 powerstrokes or a newer f150, f250, or newer Silverado. Trying to stay under 100,000 for gas motors or 200,000 for diesel and under 14,000 and rust free.
