Black Dirt Region of N.Y.

Living near the Southern border of New York state I'm constantly driving through what's call the black dirt region.. Mainly sod farms and onion farms here... Thought I'd share a pic as to what the dirt looks like... Might make some terrific food plots...

Awesome stuff. There are several areas in Ohio with similar soil. One being the "muck" lands down by Willard and another area near Lodi. They grow a lot of bulb crops and other not so common crops. Rich soil like that would be a food plotters dream come true.

There's a spot in my county like that. It's on Swamp Road. Lots of agriculture development in that area.

Pretty cool. There's a couple fields here in Clark with dirt that black.
