Man these yotes are eating good round here.Caught this big female this morning and she was fat and healthy.
She weighed in at 46 lbs and that is a big female. She was wrapped up and dead so saved anther 22 round..lol
That's 100 lbs on two yotes and need to catch 12 more to hit my 100 total count.
put two more sets in so have 8 out.
Next month will try and get 20 or 30 sets out.
Here is a set I put in today for you guys that wanna try it.I used a pogo stake and try to use two split rings for your connection. Then I drive it in the ground and I cut a stick to wrap my wire around to hold the snare up.
I like #11 ga wire but ran out so am using 14 ga trapping wire I just double it.
After you set a bunch you can put a set out in 2 to 3 mins.
If you don't use stakes you just have to find trails with trees or something else to wire your snare too but stakes sure give you more options.
The only problem is after you catch that first one it is freaking addicting.lol
Hot dam boarhead them are big azz dogs... That will help a lot of critters out not having them around. A couple showed up on my cams so I'm going to look at getting some leg holds out.
Caught another female today, gotta love taking out those females.
She weighed 36 lbs, you can see in the pic how much bigger the female was yesterday a lot fatter.
Can't wait til next month to get some more sets out.Only 7 sets out now and caught this one off a trail off a fencerow between two fields.
Congrats Brian....You're Awesome Dude!
You're also making it hard on me. Got new snares and have to go out of town for a couple more days. Xmas day I get some sets out for sure. Got a road kill being ate right now that's begging for about 3 snares!
