6th full time season. Started with the #21 wood brothers and then went with Penske #12 in 2018. His dad was a helluva world of outlaws driver who crossed over too nascar for a mediocre career, but he groomed Ryan too be what he couldn’t…

Yeah, I saw him at Bristol in the whellen series, if I remember right. Kid was running the top 5, was penalized for something and put at the back of the lead lap. Fought all the way through field and finished second. He was super aggressive which impressed me, as his dad wasn’t while in nascar.

Yep. He and his brother and his dad all ran sprint cars. Trumbull county area. Dave raced for a few different owners, Tommy Baldwin mostly. Basically a field filler position.

Dave loved racing, he just wasn’t good at all the other things that came with it. Put him in front of camera, he was a fish out of water.
