Bow stand (ISO)

Levi has been shooting alot and is actually getting pretty good. Since the snow has hit he hasn't been shooting because he normally lays the bow on the ground. Christmas coming gave me the idea to pick him something up.

I think id rather get him one he could use in his room or in the barn. So this style would work on the hard surface. Also has a place to store some arrows.

That works for practical people. Bow hunters are not practical and they love accessories... Be like buying a girl a dress...now you gotta buy matching purse, shoes, earings... Then they will hate on everyone else who didnt spend on ton on garbage to use one season. "Ewe, Kelly wore that same outfit at the last wedding"

Never had anything fancier than the cheap folding bow stands that clip on the bottom limb of the bow (similar to the one linked below). At my old house, I had a $1 bow hanger screwed into my deck since I always shot parallel to the deck, so it was handy. I also had one on the hanging target I had. I have one screwed into my wood fence right where the targets sit now.

I made one years ago out of pvc. There are a couple plans online that show dimensions and parts.

Kick-stand for current Mathews bow (don't have to remove before shot), but this one for 10yrs.+ with older bows or a hook, depending on which blind.
