Boys I need some quick suggestions

I was asked by a young man from out of state for some suggestions of places where he and his fiancee could visit here in Ohio to do some "outdoorsy" stuff - they're in their 20's, fit, they hike and mountain bike and stuff like that. They are traveling nurses working at the James in Columbus, and he wanted some places he could go in Ohio to do stuff before it got too cold.

I told him about taking a trip down 33 to Athens, staying there (they're not really campers) then going to Strouds Run and doing all the trails there and the lake blah blah blah.
I also told him about Vinton Furnace Experimental Forest and the furnaces there and trails. Told him about the Indian Mounds and basically to check out the ODNR website.

I need some other ideas for them - help me out

If they wanna do a long weekend and head to northern Ohio, tell them to take a look at Cuyahoga Valley National Park
32k acres with lots of trails and waterfalls.

I will second the hocking hills, old man’s cave, ash cave, cedar falls and rock house all worth visiting. And there is a nice trail between old man’s cave and ash cave. There is also rose lake which is a nice walk off of 374. There is now also the AOA land including what they call bison hollow if you want to get away from improved trails.

Might as well send them to Jack Pine Studio while they are in the Hocking Hills. He graduated with my sister. Neat place.

Brock is correct Jack pine studio is worth a visit while you are in the area

Hocking Hills area is definitely worth checking out. Visitors center can give them brochures and info on the areas attractions.

Mohican State Park has some decent trails, falls, fire tower, and even a covered bridge.

Hocking Hills for the scenery and hiking. And plenty of it.

Mountain biking you can hit Mohican or Hueston Woods. I'm sure there are others but I've ridden these (25yrs ago haha).

Cuyahoga is another nice one.

The Mohican area is pretty as well. Some hiking and mountain biking. Probably getting cool for tubing there but might kayak if they can stay dry.

Indian Mounds by Chillicothe? Meh. The highlight of our trip there was seeing Brock at Big City Pizza.
