Speaking of chickens... I'll be taking some tasty left-over bits of pizza home from the shop in a bit. It will be a chicken football superbowl when these goodies hit the coop. Now that is good, clean fun!

I snuck in to the "kill spot" yesterday. I didn't hunt, just wanted to read the snow and pull a card. From what the snow said, we are good to go for this weekend!!!! There were HUGE tracks clearly visible, and they avoided the camera completely, which is actually a positive IMO as "Mason's buck" has an unreal ability to do so. That dude freaks out when he sees a camera, avoids them really well. When I had the cams out and set on vid mode, it was plain to see that someone told that deer they were bad news. 
Anyway, I'm feeling much, much better about our chances.
