Even though it was brief encounter it sure did get my heart pumping! Its one of those things that is fun but a little frustrating...knowing i was in the right place at the right time when lady luck was on my side but couldn't get a shot at him...oh well, it was still a great weekend...back to paying the bills tomorrow morning.

This place has a lot of tresspassing history, even in the short amount of time i've had permission to hunt there....haven't seen a single tresspasser this year though and i'm extremely happy about that, hence the title of Project Turnaround!

However, eventhough I don't label the gun hunters of next week as tresspassers, a lot of tresspassing still happens during the upcoming week...and it seems i read a lot about gear coming up missing too...therefore, if it happens, they might be able to steal a deer, but they won't be able to steal my gear

Haven't seen a deer on stand since the last time i posted here...

Got skunked last night and this morning...nothing but coyote tracks and rabbits and squirrels and mourning doves...

Hung the bow up...grabbed the 12ga for the afternoon and brought a bunny home.

There will be more of this, since the deer left!
