Buck or doe?

Here is a doe I took behind the house during gun weekend. I wanted to see how it would look as a buck.

Looks like a southern buck.... huge rack on a smaller body.

I believe it is a Marlin 512 Slugmaster. I got it on sale real cheap at a Walmart in CT when I lived there years ago. It is a bit of a club with barn wood, but it does shoot quite well. It has taken a few deer.

Fred I've had one of the Slugmasters for about 12 -13 years and have taken a deer every season I've been out with it excluding this one lol.... Have never missed one that I've shot at, including one out too 135 paces...... Weighs a ton and kicks like a mule.... But still a nice shooting gun lol
