Buck sightings

Just sat down to eat my breakfast and 2 small bodied bucks went across the back yard about 35 yds away.
Horns looked like 6-8 points each about 12-14" tall. Explained to the wife those are young 2 yr old bucks.
Neat.
Now I'm off to haul the rest of the hay bales home.

That's cool.. I ran 5 out of the alfalfa field across the street the other evening. Getting some on trail cams but nothing super impressive.

I see many more deer the last 4-5 yrs since I put the food plots in. I look at food plots as giving candy to kids.

I hauled 2 loads landscaping mulch this morning for my helper. We have done a complete landscaping re-do since doing it 2 yrs ago. Been working on it off and on for 2 weeks now. My son has a 2nd shift worker that likes extra money so he comes 3 hrs every day and does the grunt work.
Hauled 7 truck loads already of mulch with 3 scoops in each load. Looks like 2 more loads tomorrow should do it.
Then just set back and watch the weeds grow and spray once a week.
