That deer I killed last year was so typical of the 3rd subject in the video. With very little intrusion by us and having photos and video of him on both ends of our farm over food plots/scrapes/piles I ambushed him pretty much dead center of his route back to bed or to the other end of farm to check for does and then to bed. Our farm is relatively narrrow(hillside with two nice long fields) on top and crick bottom below in the shape of a dog leg or boomerang. It’s roughly 3/4-1 mile long and 100-150 yards wide. When he came through it had only been light for 20-25 minutes or so and he was on a mission. Right place right time and proof positive you can’t kill em if you’re in bed.
The whole ticks on the fawn situation was surprising. Makes sense with how their first few months are but damn, that was some serious infections….
