Just based on his neck size from on the hoof until now I see some difference. Here a couple pics to compare.

 
Yeah, the hero pics shows a bigger shoulder and neck than the shoulder mount of your deer. What did he field dress? Did you measure his neck below the jaw, before taking him to the taxidermist?
 
That is an awesome deer Seth....You flat out got Ripped off on that mount, You and the deer deserve much better. Sorry! But I would be pissed!
Like Ron said, "It is what it is" but that was NOT what your deer was. Dang man, what a shame!
 
That mount looks good man. Very nice! But your taxi should be punched in the throat for using such a skinny form. Lol
 
Looks great still but it sure seems like he must not have measured it before sending it out. That or just ordered what he thought it should be like Jaeger said. That thing was a pig!
 
Looks good but the money you put into that I'd be disappointed. But if your happy with it so be it. Congrats again on a awesome buck.
