Buddy killed one

I passed this deer up last Sunday after he came cruising by at 30 yards. This morning he came out of the corn and by buddy grunted, he came in on a string. 190 pounds dressed.

I rattled about a half hour after he shot this buck and my buddy saw a big boy looking down over the ridge by the corn field. I never saw him but I'll be back there in the morning. Could of been big willy.

How old did you suspect him to be Chad? Looks heavy on mass and big bodied. Big neck on him doesn't say anything but looks cool. Congrats to your buddy.

Just going off mass and body size I'd say 4.5, gotta look at jaw bone though. I never saw this deer before last Sunday when I was on stand and he came through looking like he ran a marathon. I rattled him back in but decided to pass him up just because of his tine length.

He had a wound on his ear that I suspect was from fighting. Maybe since he's gone I'll see more bucks.
