Without looking it up, I believe the reviews on the spypoint weren't very good.

Not sure about the reviews of specific models. I bought a couple for my employees last year as Christmas bonuses. Never have seen any pictures from them. I think Spypoint is an up and coming company. They seem to have consistently improved and you will hear a lot more about them in the next several years. I don't remember the exact reviews either, but there was something missing they hadn't worked out yet. Maybe trigger speed a little slow? Just can't remember.
