eBay is an interesting one. I buy a decent amount of stuff from eBay, it's always worth checking. Sometimes the prices are better, sometimes not, but I get routinely surprised by what I can find on eBay.

When it comes to delivery, FedEx is such a joke here that I will not order from a place if they say it will ship FedEx. They haven't been reliable since Tom Hanks' plane went down and he befriended a volleyball. Their tracking sucks, it's never accurate, and it's a damn Easter egg hunt every time they deliver. You never know where it will be left around the house. Maybe it's their game, I don't like that game.

Wife had a shelf in the amazon cart, she was waiting for the prime day to see if it was a little cheaper. It was, but the savings were added too the shipping cost….. $5 discount on the price of the cart, shipping went from $10 to $15.

Prime days are a scam. They mark up the prices on most items just to mark them down, or they play games with the shipping if you don't have prime.

Tell her to look at wayfair for furniture items. And make sure she looks for it in different places on wayfair. It's all made overseas then American brands slap their name on it. Multiple sellers will have the same item under different names. We bought a credenza for $700 that we saw well know furniture manufacturers trying to charge $2,200 for.

..anyone else in a rural area that Amazon does this? They deliver to the USPS office, Amazon calls it delivered... then the post office dicks around with it for a couple days and unless you have an 'approved' mailbox 📬 out front USPS won't deliver. FedEx and UPS do thou...
Yep, happens quite a bit with us… But its usually UPS doing it too us…

We get Amazon packages all the time in our mailbox the last couple months but they weren't sent through USPS. Just figured it was a lazy delivery driver.

I actually just had to make an ebay purchase a few weeks ago. I can't remember the last time i used it. My local place stopped carrying the fish pellets I buy for the pond fish. Amazon didn't have the size I wanted, so I looked at the smaller diameter pellet. $89 with no prime. I was paying 55 at the local shop. I found a seller on ebay that was $60 and the correct size. The package showed a few days later. I open it up, expecting to see the Purina blue bag and I see a trash bag instead. It did weigh out though...🤣
