Chad's 2016-17 trapping thread

I'm gonna try and get a few sets in tomorrow since the weather looks decent this week. Just depends how wet it still is.
Good luck, I sure as hell need it lol. There just doesn't seem to be many yotes around the farm this year, which is a good thing but I'd still like to catch more. The only other spot I have is a mile away and I didn't see much sign there either.

There comes a time you'll trap yourself outta business.... That's not a bad thing with yotes.....

Pulled my remaining 2 foot holds, and knocked my snares down in preparation for "Operation Get You Some". A thread will be started on said operation tomorrow at 9am, stand by.😂

Great stuff. My grandfather was a big trapper in his day... I've always wanted to get into it. maybe one day when I'm working local again I'll do some reading and buy a few traps to try it out. In the mean time if you need help running a line on a weekend let me know... I'd gladly come along just for the experience.

I could probably bring you along next year. I'm not seeing much sign on the couple farms that I have permission to trap, I haven't caught a yote in a month lol.
