I don't know if I agree. Some guys are hunting super aggressive from day one (Dan Infalt comes to mind) and killing studs every year. Same tactics, different bucks, different locations. I think if you're already hunting transitions, travel routes from good bedding to food, etc... there isn't much reason to do more than tweak tactics throughout the year. Hunt doe bedding instead of known buck beds during the rut, stuff like that. Now if you're sitting on field edges every set-up, I agree. There would come a time to start mixing it up a good bit. Just my opinion and I'm still learning so take it for what it's worth.
