Chasing

It's been my observation the last 4 years that the young ones always get horny first. The big boys know what's up and save their energy for when the poon is ripe for the taking.
 
Seems early for it to be more than a lingering morning wood, but there are does that come in early. You just never know from here on out...
 
I had a doe being followed by a buck last Wednesday, he wasn't dogging her just playing follow the leader....


 
BS51 I'm not sure. I'm still not very good at aging deer. I'd say maybe 3. He had a pretty decent sized body, his legs looked short for him.
 
I watched a 6 point running a doe around pretty good a few nights ago. This was at like 10 oclock at night, right next to the road. Doe had a fawn with her too. The young buck had his head down low, running her all around that dang field.
