I know you're not looking new, but I wanted to chime in. I sold my Colorado and bought a brand new Subaru XV Crosstrek. Same ground clearance as a Jeep Cherokee, but I get 33 mpg hwy in an AWD cross over. It's not the roomiest vehicle for my family of 4, but I love it. It drives and handles exceptionally well.
