I've been out on the pond behind the house already, that thawed last week and now its back on the mend. Hoping to pop some holes in the next few days. We are due for some hard water on lake Erie!

I've just about changed gears on hunting, gotta take advantage of this blessing mother nature is providing. My guess is to be on the big pond very soon.
I’m here for a few days if anyone wants to get out. I didn’t bring any gear, but would still be happy to just tag along.
The ice is great but the water is pretty cloudy still. Caught three blue gills. A couple days to clear up and the fishing should be good.
Buddy's son had a great time watching me chase my shanty across the harbor when the wind picked up lol!

Wish I could get out there. Wife had been sick all week and I'm staying home to make things less miserable. I'll be out soon enough though.
Hell yeah that's a good husband! No hurry to get out with the temps staying cold. We are going to check it out again tomorrow or Tuesday again. Next weekend should be a lot better.
