We'll all be complaining about the heat soon enough, that's Ohio for you. I do wish the winter would go away too though, it's been a long crappy one with too many cold days.

I'll take this over heat and humidity any day, except the snow shoveling. Like Dan said, dress for it and its not bad. The worst part is its hard on stuff.

Had a driver from the Quebec area. He said we have more snow then them right now. And sorry but kids and the schools are wusses now. Calling off for being cold? Come on...

The wind chill was -30 for a couple days, I wouldn't want my kid out in that.

Are you saying that us kids back in the old days were smarter? We never had school canceled. But then we did dress for the cold and didn't go to school with no coats on as I seen on the News the other night. I couldn't believe it when I seen the kids getting off the school bus in short sleeve shirts.
I guess we were smarted then.

When the weather guy said spring was six weeks away i got sad!!!! Thats when its going to be bad. Slop and mud nothing to hunt or fish until the river comes down from flood stage after the thaw. Everything brown and dead looking with no green yet. Then right before im ready to loose my mind people start talking about mushroom hunting and i get morrel fever going and the days start getting warmer and warmer and then before i know it my sanity comes back because im in the woods once again getting shrooms and thinking that deer season is just four short months away. (after reading this it looks like i already lost it lol!!!!)

So what do you guys think they do in Alaska and northern Canada do, cancel school for the whole year? Sorry but there are states that have colder winters then we do. Maybe they think mother nature is "bullying" the kids...lol..
