first shot into brand new target. good omen, methinks.
Certainly helps you resist the temptation of taking a head shot
oddly enough, the absence of a head on that target is a bit of a distraction. I'm not good enough to hit them in the head on purpose, anyway.

I only shot two arrows today, my cold shot and one more for fun. I hung the bow up for the day before it went down hill.
The deer target was 20 yds out of treestand and the tennis ball was 25 yds.

next four from 25 yards
moved target so I can shoot from my deck, which puts me about 18' off the ground. not a "cold" shot, but first practice shot from my elevated position. the shot distance is 18-19 yards.
Just got back from vacation and saw this thread. Grabbed the bow and said what the heck. This was my first shot at 20. The plate is a six inch desert plate. My bag is toast so I put this on there to give me a better spot to aim at.

Went back and shot one more. Zoom in and you will see it almost went in same hole. Pulled that arrow and went back and was not nearly as lucky. Lol. The next two arrows went just low off the plate. Still got a lot of work to do before I am ready to hunt with it. Should have stopped at two.
