I had been shooting really well until yesterday. I was fighting off a massive headache (migraines run on my mom's side of the family) and had what I sort of call "headache eyes." My eyes felt tired and I had trouble focusing. My height on my shots was good but, from the start, I was spraying left and right. Cold shot from 22 was wide left.
I sprayed a few groups left and right, no consistency to left or right. Then I had a decent group that was about baseball size and followed that up with this one and called it.
It was a struggle but I was going to end on a positive note.

First shots today were from the saddle. I didn't go up high, I do more summer reps low so I am used to the body position in the tree. These first three were from about the 7:00 position. I had not been shooting from it as much as I probably should be so it felt good to get some more saddle reps in.
Then went back out after lunch for a few more from the ground.

I pity the deer that comes by you at 18 yards! It was breezy this morning, too, but a nice morning in the woods.
I got both recurves out on Saturday before the rain.
First 3 from 16-17 with the Stalker. When I haven't shot it for a while, I'm just about always a skosh high.

You need to be hunting with that Stalker bow Creamer..get it broke in on some critters.
