College Football Thread

Yep. I think there are many hopeful Ohio State fans. I'm not sure there is a consistent level of optimism. My brother in law has pretty solid football knowledge. At Christmas he was sounding extremely confident in the Buckeyes odds to win it all. I'd be curious to know the percentage of OSU fans who feel the same. I'd guess it is split 60/40 or 70/30 with more people doubting than are confident in a win.

Day has everything on the line.
I don’t think so. The fans, media pundits and other talking heads can beat on Day all they want, but he is not going anywhere. He’s going to have to do a lot worse than losing to Michigan two times to lose his job.

Agreed. Who would they replace him with that would supposedly be better.

Harbaugh was under the same attack his first few years of coaching U of M. So I guess maybe you guys are right. I still hope he starts coaching with more drive. At least act like his job is on the line.

Saban, duh!!! Lmao
Fat chance. Although that would be freakin' awesome, except to all the 'Bama fans, lol. All of the most successful coaches are just barely asshole enough and just barely corrupt enough to get the best players and coaches and get the most out of them without being taken to task on it. This is what Ryan Day lacks, or at least appears to lack. he's a "players coach".

Agreed and the lack of motivation/pure grit shows.

That kid throwing the ball for the Bengals is more fun to watch than the Buckeyes.

What’s the SEC record in bowl games so far the bowl season? 🤔

Oh, I found it!
