Now that the season is over, it will be interesting to see what happens moving forward.
NIL "$20M Buckeye roster" was tossed around a lot. We were not the highest NIL money team though. There were quite a few in the upper teens to lower $20s. Outside of Caleb Downs, Quinshon Judkins, Will Howard, our injured Bama center. . . .who else did we pull in? I know we spent some coin on seniors who wanted to come back to win a couple titles and beat UM. We have some HS recruits like Smith.
Compare this to other teams. I don't know details on other teams but I suspect it wasn't much different. What happened to the SEC this year? Even playing field since they weren't the only ones paying players? I don't know if that is true but it is heavily rumored. What other schools can we expect to become perennial contenders? Is the 12 team format staying the same?
