DOMINATION! 🤣🤣

Finally caught some high light (low light?) reels. USC beat UM? Caught the end of that game. Not a fair assessment but the last 5 min or so it looked like UM was mentally defeated. Zero blocking. Sacked QB. QB just tossing the ball and praying it was close to a WR. Ugly ending.

Penn State loses at home to Northwestern? Ouch. Not a PSU fan but hate it for them. They always make a good match up for most too ten teams. Drew Aler out for the season? Hate to see that for any of the kids playing.

Georgia with a late field goal for the win?

What happened to CFB this year? I hate to say Ohio State is the only dominant and complete team in CFB, but on paper. . . But to be truthful, if you watch them their are some cracks in their armor here and there. Hurry up offense and OSU going to prevent D isn't pretty. We haven't seen Sayin truly pressured too bad yet. Maybe a little and he moved around in the pocket and looked good. Nothing like the pressure USC was showing in UM at the end of their game. Time will tell.
Michigan had 2 interceptions shoved up their butt while trying to come back... 😃😃😃😃😃

And we should be coasting... we beat #1 from the rip.... OH!

Pre-season #1 who is currently unranked. Whose schedule included unranked SJSU, UTEP and Sam Houston then got spanked by unranked 2-3 Florida. Big achievement there. 🤣 Their win over #6 OU last night was impressive, I guess, considering OU was really untested and playing cupcakes also and got exposed.

If you can't see that's a very good team in Columbus you either haven't watched them play or just can't stand how good they really are with a QB that's just getting his feet wet at the college level

I didn't say they weren't. I said it's easy to look that way playing cupcakes and sitting 30th at mid season strength of schedule rankings. I'm sure they are a good team, they're geting plenty of practice games.

How is it possible for any prominent D1 program to schedule the best competition a year or two or more in advance? I think that is not possible at all, really, especially with the NIL and transfer portal altering teams so readily year in and year out now. What top football program would punish themselves that way anyway even if they could? (the answer is obviously NONE) This is all about getting to the play-off now.

Quite true, but it's not like OSU has much of a choice either even if they wanted to schedule better teams, the BIG 10 has never had much competition. For over a decade now the only real team they've had to play each season was Michigan, and occasionally an inconsistent Penn St. A playoff spot was usually a lock unless they shot themselves in the foot and lost to an unranked Iowa on the road late in the season. With a 12-team playoff, the road is even easier. With the 5 conf champions even if they somehow managed to not be the Big 10 Champs there are 7 more slots they can fall in. I don't think the Bucks have fallen outside the top 12 postseason in a decade and a half. So it's a lock they see the playoffs. The whole point when the CFP kept changing things, its nolonger about finding the season champs just some exhibition games with a trophy. They want more playoffs and nobody important with lots of fans to ever be left out. Which really makes regular season worthless and creates a quasi post season season as the only one that matters. To your point there is ZERO reason to schedule worthwhile teams and every reason to avoid them. Imma still talk crap and point it out though because it's fun. 🤣 Isn't it grand what the CFP has done to football.

So when Bama was the only school paying players, dominating year in and year out, and playing the University of Chimp Fecies. . . . We felt like you do right now.

Whatever you need to tell yourself 🤣 You have zero proof Bama was paying anyone, But if it makes you feel better to claim they were so you don't feel so bad about having to do it today then so be it. Year in year out regular season strength of schedule has undeniably been tougher in the SEC than anything the Big 10 has put together over the last decade and a half.

College footballs motto is now. "If ya can't win then whine and complain to get the rules changed until you can." And that goes back all the way BCS days.

Predominantly the loss of Saban who also saw the bullshit rule changes for what they were and called it quits. But really a playoff spot and the trophy has been so watered down it doesn't hold much weight anymore. It's nolonger about building and developing a team and talent over a period of a kids college career and winning regular season games for a limited shot at a title. It's about ratings, money, and what players the universities collective can buy with NIL funds so that people don't get their panties in a wad when they didn't earn a spot.

To be honest though I haven't watched a single snap of college football since the championship game last year. Women's rugby has far more grit and athleticism without all the "my vagina hurts" targeting rules in the NCAA. And they do it without pads or helmets. It's sad that women's rugby is more football than what American football has become. 🤣
