College Football Thread

Predominantly the loss of Saban who also saw the bullshit rule changes for what they were and called it quits. But really a playoff spot and the trophy has been so watered down it doesn't hold much weight anymore. It's nolonger about building and developing a team and talent over a period of a kids college career and winning regular season games for a limited shot at a title. It's about ratings, money, and what players the universities collective can buy with NIL funds so that people don't get their panties in a wad when they didn't earn a spot.

To be honest though I haven't watched a single snap of college football since the championship game last year. Women's rugby has far more grit and athleticism without all the "my vagina hurts" targeting rules in the NCAA. And they do it without pads or helmets. It's sad that women's rugby is more football than what American football has become. 🤣
Okay, so why are you in this thread, Karen? I bet you have a Harris sticker on your subaru.

Who is whining and crying now

# The NFL Factory = The Ohio State University

91 to Bama 84 all time first round draft picks. Big numbers there. Know what else is cool. Bama has produced a first round pick 17 years straight compared to OSUs 10. Pretty worthless though as we all know how wishey washey draft picks can be when it comes to actual NFL performance.

Never understood why a guy that hates Ohio so much spends money to have an internet site here lol. Fuck our DNR fuck our ODOW fuck our Ohio state Buckeyes fuck the whole fucking state move out of the state but still keeps the site?

Don't take stuff so serious bud. You'll never see it but our "hatered" as you call it toward the ODNR was far more benificial for hunters than you'll ever realize. Besides, I don't hate Ohio that much., I brought an Ohio born trophy back down here with me. 🤣

As for the site, you want your money back? 😊 Lighten up my man, come to strouds and meet me then maybe you'll get it, nothing is that serious.

I'm sorry Joe. I didn't realize you were in such denial and taking it so bad.

At this rate, at least Bama should have a shot at the play offs this year.

No denial here my man, just facts. It's OK if people want to pretend like it's earned not bought and not by design Anyone that's watched college ball the last 20 years has seen the complaining and rule changes and sees exactly what happened, starting way back during the BCS days. Just keep complaining and changing rules until it suits the ratings agenda. Most are just going to play coy because it benefits their team and now they get to feel like they're special too. Like the saying goes. If you can't beat em just make up new rules until you win. 😅 No concern to me if Bama makes the playoffs or not, it's all hollow anymore with a 12 team playoff. Thats not proving anything as it introduces too many variables. Play those same 12 teams 3 times and I bet you get 3 different results. Thats not crowning a season champion. Thats just entertainment. Football has gone from team and player development to how many guys can an NIL collective buy and get to transfer without penalty.

Money killed college football
The lust of money has killed many things.

There’s just more parity in NCAA football now with NIL and TP but bigger schools with more money and booster/fan base will have the advantage.
Pro sports are no better. Neighborhoods and school systems can be categorized the same. IMO
