College Football Thread

Hate to leave the burger joint I ate at. If I didn't have an hour and 45min drive home I would watch the end of that game. What I saw of the third and part of 4th quarter didn't look like Miami was doing much. Louisville working them over on offense. And Miami offense didn't seem to do much besides a field goal while I was watching.

Another LSU loss on the road?

Spartans tried to hang with The Hoosiers for a minute. That didn't happen.

Miami lost last night.

Tight game for Georgia at the half.

UM beat the Huskies pretty easily. Both at 5-2 overall.

Starting to get interesting. Going to be a two loss team in the playoffs. Maybe a couple.

'Bama 98 yrd pic 6 at the very end of 2nd qtr.....Tennessee is stunned ...lol
Yet. . . Still in the game. Can someone offer The Vols some tackling pointers? They are out playing Bama but you have to hit and wrap. Poor execution is hurting them terribly. Game isn't over yet. In spite of the safety, the pick 6, poor tackling. . . Even though they are losing right now, Tennessee has impressed me. Clean it up and it's a much different score.

Some more upsets today as well. Shaking things up for down the road.
Ole Miss loses to Georgia
Texas Tech goes down to Arizona State
Auburn leading Missouri
Memphis loses to UAB
Texas A&M barely hung on versus unranked Arkansas ?
Texas squeaked it out in OT versus unranked UK.

Didn't watch football today. Highlights didn't disappoint.

BYU came back against unranked Iowa State to remain undefeated.

Texas had to come back in OT to beat unranked MS State.

Bama squeaked out a win against unranked S Carolina.

Indiana crushed UCLA. That's not a surprise.

Couple ranked teams lost. Couple higher ranked teams held on or came back from behind to win.

I'm curious to see how the season ends. UM could become a viable contender. Indiana? Who knows. Looking tough but not sure who they have played. Could honestly say the same about the Buckeyes (although I don't think they've shown half their cards yet.) Then you watch Bama run the gauntlet and win several tough games in a row to barely beat South Carolina? Huh?
