I've been scratching my head about ND's reaction all day. What a terrible look for the brand, and with the brand recognition and prominence they have, it's a decision counter to my own instincts. That said, I think they got screwed over for a 3 loss 'Bama. That also said, if ND joined a legit conference, it would help their cause. And all that said, have you seen their 2026 schedule? Even if they went undefeated, a 3 loss SEC team could still make a case for ousting them!

I definitely don't agree with ND getting jumped by UM with both teams not playing last weekend and ND being ahead of UM the week before. But I also don't agree with Bama being ahead of either. My opinion. But ND puling the whole I'm taking my ball and going home thing is BS also. There is always gonna be a 1st team out.

My issue is Alabama not falling in the rankings after a big loss in the SEC championship game.

I'll tell you what it is. Fuckung stupid. 12 team playoff stupid shit. A playoff spot for 10-2 and 10-3 teams. Give me a break, what the actual hell are we deciding here. It doesn't have shit all to do with crowning a champion. A 12 team playoff is nothing more than a random lottery ball machine

More teams outside the top 12 should do it and just let all the bowls die. Theres zero reason to play them now. Its not like any player worth a damn will play in them anyway, not worth the injury odds. Give the CFP the finger and let them have their little money machine circle jerk by themselves.

What’s different the March Madness tournament?🤔…..other than a lot more teams and much bigger bracket?

If my corporation spends millions for a couple of 6-5 teams to play a bowl game that few people will watch. . . . .fire me as the CEO. I'm sure the games get more viewers than a regular season game. I just don't think I'd want my corporation to spend the coin. The ROI has got to be terrible. That said, I've not looked up the number of viewers in these smaller bowl games. Maybe I would be surprised.

I also don't agree with how the Irish are currently handling the situation. Its embarrassing. If you don't want to be left out, win your games. Miami came in prepared week 1 and we didn't. BUT Bama sure as fuck shouldn't be in as a 3 loss team. Keep lobbing all the hate on ND, I get it. I honestly don't care if they do or don't join a conference. The next 6 months should be interesting.

GO ARMY BEAT NAVY!!!

Never thought id say this...I'm proud of you for that. 🤣 Seriously tho, good to see you not let your man down to support a wrong. Core values and worth to be had from that. 👍🏾

No need to sink with the ship full of life boats.

Notre Dame started it and now there's 10 teams that have opted out of playing in bowl games, with some schools even being fined for their decisions.

"Several bowl-eligible teams have turned down the opportunity to continue their seasons. Shortly after being surprisingly left out of the playoff field, Notre Dame opted against taking part in a bowl game. Iowa State and Kansas State, both of which are undergoing coaching changes, have also declined the chance to play in a bowl, with the Big 12 fining each school $500,000 for their decisions."

So if a $500,000 fine (expense) isn't enough to make a team think twice about opting out, then what dollar amount does it cost these teams to actually play in a bowl game? Another way to look at it is, how much money do these programs actually make, when a $500,000 expense (fine) doesn't hurt?

I mean, at the end of the day we're just sports fans, but these sports are businesses. And if a business decision to pay an unbudgeted fine of $500,000 is made so quickly and easily, then how much money is just sitting in that business account? Or is the business actually saving money by paying the fine rather than continuing the program and all it's associated expenses for a few more weeks?

So you think he supports this spoiled rich kid display? I could see how he would want to not be associated with the program any longer. For the same reasons you dont support what they did.
He doesn't make that call, the AD and most likely school president made the call to skip the bowl. He's a natural competitor, I'm certain he'd rather play
