This isn't so much a *legal question as it is an *experience question. For those of you who have renewed your Ohio CC permit, were you required to submit a new photo each time? Also, did you have to submit a new 'certificate of competency' every other renewal?
The way I read the poorly worded, state approved articles on the subject, a new passport style photo is required for every renewal and a new 'certificate of competency' is required every six years. However, I was told by a class instructor today that the certificate is NOT required as long as you don't let your license lapse.
